God is continually moving.  His word says so.
"God is always on the alert, constantly on the lookout for people who are totally committed to him..." (2 Chronicles 16:9 ESV)

Not only is He moving, but He is searching.  Searching for those who are sold out and committed to Him.  But what does that even mean or better yet what does that look like?

When I was in high school, I was on the Senior High School basketball team for St.Francis Xavier.  Back then, I was only 5 feet tall and 120 pounds. I had a lot working against me.  I'm pretty sure I was the smallest guy on the team.
But I didn't let those things stop me from playing the game.  Before the season even started, I worked and worked and worked hard at refining my skills.  During the season, being the first one at practice and last one to leave was the norm for me.  I ate healthy, tried to take care of my body, I did what I needed to do in order to be the best at the game.  Basically I was sold out for the game...and my coach saw it.  He saw how hard I was working and how committed I was to the game and to the team.  In the end, things turned out for me.  I was appointed captain of the team and even ended up being awarded the MVP award for the season.

What does that have to do with God moving and searching?  I think it has a lot to do with it.  For those who want to be used by God and live a life that is meaningful in His eyes, you need to prepare for it.  I don't think that if I barely read my bible, don't have a relationship with Him and His people, and don't really care about what He is doing, that He is going to use me in a very impactful way.  Why?  Isn't faith all we need?
The bible says in the book of James: "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

So, what could we do right now?  Act today expecting God is going to do something tomorrow.
