Administrative Secretary/Bookkeeper

I started working for Victory Church on the Rock as an Administrative Secretary/Bookkeeper in March of 2005 under the leadership of Pastor Ron den Otter. Though originally a teacher, I‘ve long since laid down a teaching career and was delighted to be employed here. I love organizing and keeping things in order as well as interacting with our church body here which makes this the perfect job for me. Working with Pastor Jonathan and Dale definitely adds a “spontaneous and unexpected” element to my otherwise routine life.

I love organizing and keeping things in order as well as interacting with our church body here which makes this the perfect job for me. I was born and raised in Edmonton although Rob & I and our two girls lived in Slave Lake for eight years. The time we spent there changed our lives spiritually; Rob was saved and all of us were filled with the spirit. When we returned to Edmonton, “Victory” became our home and we are forever & gratefully “hooked” with Victory Churches International.

A Little About Me...
-I love the water and so I spend at least a couple of nights/week in an aquasize class or you’ll find me reading a good book.
-Rob & I used to “bowl” weekly and are toying with the idea of returning to a bowling league.
-We love “partying” with our church family and we’re usually the ones packed with games.
-I love small groups and enjoy bible studies generated within that environment.
-And favorite ice cream?....that would have to be cookies & cream. The only thing that tops that is an English Toffee cappuchino!
