Senior Pastors

My wife and I joined Victory Church on the Rock in 2001. We were inspired by the direction, the courage and the genuineness of the Victory Movement. I joined the staff of VCOTR in 2006 and we have served here as lead pastor since July of 2007. Marcia and I met on a cross-cultural ministry trip in 1992. After completing post-secondary schooling and spending some time developing our individual relationships with God we were married in 2002. Marcia grew up as the only girl between two brothers. I grew as the younger brother to five sisters. Marcia loves numbers and accounting. I failed math more than once (to figure out of many times would require… well… math). I love working and socializing late into the night. Marcia starts shutting down for sleep at 9:01pm. I like spending time outdoors hiking and camping. So does she. Marcia likes cozy fireplaces and time spent with family. So do I. Together we are excited about following God’s direction for us as and our family.

Our passion is to help others discover the overwhelming goodness of God and the peace that comes when Jesus is in control of our lives. We love the adventure and the challenge of pursuing the plans and purposes that God has prepared for us and for each one of you. Victory Church on the Rock is a good place for accomplishing that.
